Repair project Completed in 2023. The purpose of the project was to execute a repair and maintenance program to all facade elevations at The Logan Philadelphia Hotel. The repairs included granite panel replacement, granite panel crack repairs, sealant replacement, and balcony deck coating.
The Logan Hotel Philadelphia (previously Four Seasons) is a luxury hotel at Logan Square in downtown Philadelphia. The building was constructed in 1983. The building has 8 above grade levels and one below grade level. The building structure consists of conventionally reinforced concrete floor slabs supported by reinforced concrete beams and columns.
The façade at the building is primarily granite panels with metal framed windows. There are two types of panels at the building; conventional granite panels with air cavity and backup wall and precast panels with a thin granite veneer in front of the precast, each is described in the next section. The granite façade has a concealed flashing system with tube weeps to permit water drainage from the wall cavity.
